TRAVEL TEAMS

Pinnacle TRAVEL
Teams in both
ann arbor and grand rapids
Upon selection to a Pinnacle Travel Team, an athlete will be provided as much detail as possible regarding the upcoming season competition and practice schedule. It is typical for our Pinnacle travel team players to be dual or multi-sport athletes and Pinnacle athletes are successful at both navigating the scheduling and competitive demands of multi-sports. The Pinnacle schedule and philosophy allows for this success.
Why We Support Multi-Sport Athletes
We strongly believe that playing more than one sport helps our field hockey athletes become stronger, smarter, and more well-rounded. It keeps training fresh, challenges athletes in new ways, and helps prevent burnout and overuse injuries from repetitive movement. Multi-sport athletes develop a wider range of skills, adapt to different team dynamics, and grow in confidence both on and off the field. We fully support and encourage multi-sport participation — the more you play, the more you grow.
The Pinnacle Mission
Since our launch, in 2009, Pinnacle has subscribed to our initial mission:
- grow the game, both in opportunity and competitive level
- develop field hockey players, athletically and as strong teammates and citizens
- empower athletes to realize their goals for field hockey beyond their participation in Pinnacle
- Train the speed of foot, thought, skill and tactical awareness
Over the years we have accomplished these goals through our focus on the 4 C’s of personal and athletic development:
- communication
- confidence
- courage
- compassion
We are proud of all of the athletes who have reached their personal goals with Pinnacle and look forward to working with other young athletes who strive to become their personal best.
